“I hired Jewel Home Designs for a project very close to my heart – my daughter’s big girl room. We moved my little girl Mackenzie into a new room a few months before my son was born and I had some ideas for what I wanted but wasn’t sure how to approach it or what would look best in this special new space for my girl.

Julianne was so patient and understanding when I wasn’t sure where to start or what exactly I wanted for Mackenzie’s new room. I knew I wanted the design to be something that both Mackenzie and I would love, and that she could grow with for years to come.

Julianne made design suggestions I never even would have thought of, and gave me different options and ideas to help me narrow down my vision for this big lofty dream I had. The end result is a stunning children’s room; Jewel Home Designs truly made my little girl’s dreams come true!

Mackenzie’s bedroom is my favourite room in our home, and one that my daughter feels safe and happy in. From the beautiful tones of pink and sage throughout, to the gorgeous carpet and perfect floral decals Julianne found, not to mention the inspired board & batten accent wall; there is nothing about this room that Mackenzie and I don’t love.

The whole experience working with Julianne was exciting, fun, and removed any stress I had about a design project. “It was a pleasure working with Julianne for our bathroom renovation project. We appreciated her guidance in helping us choose our vanity, tiles, paint colours, accessories, etc. The mood boards and 2D drawings helped us visualize the outcome of our renovation project. She presented us with 3 different scenarios that would reflect our needs and would give us a price range accordingly.

She was always ready to help and would listen to our comments and bring her input to help us with our decision making. She was also open to ideas that we might bring to the table that meant rethinking the original plan.
